Whoa, huge post... nothing less would do justice to Val + Brett's like-no-other-wedding-i-have-photographed celebration in Pioneertown, CA a few weeks back. A ceremony in the desert, portraits at an Old Western movie's set, and reception at a local honky tonk - yes, the definition of unconventional, and such a blast! Enjoy the photos..

I started shooting a lot of Holga, so get used to it!
I love the guy on the left holding a dollar bill, and how the flower girl and ring bearer look so unhappy to be squished together! {click to see larger}
Brett asked all of the men to wear black suits in the 105 degree desert heat, which, besides being slightly masochistic, made for some pretty cool photos.

I found this post as I was searching for info on having a wedding at Pappy and Harriet's! My fiance and I both love love love the place (and the surrounding desert location), and are now seriously considering getting hitched there. Any way you could put me in contact with the bride and groom from this wedding so I could get some more info?
